You know, rather than being profit-centric, I prefer to be people-centric. Everything I earn is therefore invested in the Cooperative to create new jobs, support social activities in the local area and promote diversity and inclusion.
Have you any idea how many students have visited our production unit? More than 300! And it’s great that part of my work involves dedicating time to bright young minds. Who knows, maybe one day they will become part of my family. Always make way for youngsters! That’s why, in 2019, more than 50% of the people we hired were under 30 years old. In 2020, among all our employees, more than 12% were under 30.
Here, near our production unit in Bagnacavallo, in the province of Ravenna, we have created a space open to everyone, where you can purchase our products at even more affordable prices. I know, it doesn’t change history, but a pleasant trip to Bagnacavallo certainly makes your day better. Shall we meet here?
I collaborate with and support various associations and non-profit organisations in my local area that are involved in many important, worthy and wonderful projects. I help the elderly, young people, families, women, as well as young families in need! Some examples? Some generations leave, others come and, above all, stay. In the Cooperative, more than half of the members are under 50 years old. Last year, despite everything, each member received a bonus of €1,000 to cope with the pandemic emergency, and 20 people were hired.
Having no accidents in the workplace is not a dream but a choice. In fact, last year, there were no serious injuries at our production unit. Team spirit. Taking care of oneself and others. Ongoing improvement. This is the way to be. Definitely!
